You are 19 months old and full of energy! To others you are so quiet and shy, but to me you are loud and rambunctious. Running through the house, you scream and laugh as I chase you. You delight in being tickled and sometimes get the hiccups from giggling so much (just like mommy)! Jumping, throwing, playing in the dirt; all these things make you a typical little boy. But there is a softer, gentler side of you, too. Sometimes you will hug me out of nowhere and give little kisses. In new surroundings and around different people, you become so shy. You lay your head on my shoulder or bury your face in my leg, but you are quite the charmer because then you flash your big beautiful, dimple-faced smile. Even in play areas and at the park, it takes several minutes before you are ready to jump in and join the fun. And once you do, you never bully anyone around. If someone comes over to where you are, you will step aside and let them take a turn. You are curious about everything and will sometimes stand in silence, watching, soaking in every sight and sound. I am already proud of the little man you are becoming and I want you to know how very much I love you. You may be 19 months old, but you will always be my baby boy.
