This is my oldest DS Nico. He has been playing video games since he was about 4. First the plug and play games...then computer games...a few years ago I got him a used Playstation II. Then Grandma bought them a Wii Christmas before last...then this Christmas I got them an Xbox360. It was a mystery present. I couldn't really put all their names on the tag and say it was from me or they would have figured out what was inside right? When they opened it and Nico saw what was inside....he freaked out and ran to the dinning room and did about 5 laps around the dinning room table. Screaming his head off, he loves gaming that much! Being Autistic he does have some delays, but when it comes to the world of gaming...whether its online using a PC or playing on the XBox 360, he is a MASTER. I finally got a GAMEFLY.COM subscription last May because we would buy him a used game at the video store and 2 days later (2!!!!!) he was asking for another one because he had beat the game and won all the levels!! Gamefly.com has saved my money and my sanity.
Anyway....I used clip art for every tag except the ones on the black cardstock. Those stickers came with the game SkyLanders that Nico wanted for Christmas too. The journling bracket is also clip art. I used white card stock and misted (with homemade mists) it 3 times, drying completely with a heat gun after each time. Stared with a sapphire blue, then Peridot and black. I really like the way the background came out. I was up to 3:30 am getting this done and was awake at 6:30 to get the kids off to school....guess that is why I am just rambling away, when inspiration strikes its sometimes hard to put off!!
