Couldn't have said it better myself TarynLeah...Precious!! That is the sweetest story. My children too felt the same anticipation for their grandmom!! That says a lot for grandmoms!! It's nice to think I may be a grandmom one day =o)

This is SO sweet! My kids do that too. It IS HARD when you live far apart!! I'm so glad for you that your grandkids are closer now! Precious LO.

Journaling Reads: Waiting and Watching for Bugga.
It is very hard on a grandma when the adored grandchildren live in another state.

The only solution I found was to visit often and bring lots of love and toys.

Each time I arrived for a visit, their sweet little faces would be waiting and watching at doors and windows. There's no welcome in the world better than that.

I am so thankful they moved close.

Even though I drive just a few miles now, they still wait and watch. and their sweet smiles still bring joy to a grandma's heart
