Made with beauties from the Swirlydoos December and January kits, this is my entry for the Challenge at Flying Unicorn to "Scrap your Style" and journal about what makes your style unique.
decided my style is a base layer of Shabby/Vintage with trends of lightness.
I like to have a sense of movement and fluidity.
Color choices drive my designs.
Most all of my layouts stem from an idea or a story or a song that just won't let me go until I capture it and glue it down.
This is my niece, Vivien, she has Cystic Fibrosis and at 14 months still has no symptoms. I am on the Christian journey and am constantly amazed at the blessings all around us when we put faith in action.
When I scrapped this pic the song lyrics ,"There are more than angels watching over me" came to me and reminded me of how my Grandparents who never met Vivi are keeping watch from above and keeping her safe.
I love flowers and butterflies and they are on all my projects.I try to add "found" objects-family trinkets,etc to make LOs more meaningful.can't do without my Zutter, Holtz distress inks, Perfect pearl mist, diamond Stickles and lots and lots of Prima.
My favorite subjects are my niece and my children and I tend to give away most of what I create.
