I truely love to read August Strindberg. He's been one of my favourite authors for years. His way to describe his environment is exceptional. He wrote a nameless poem as an introduction in Sleepwalking Nights in Broad Daylight (1884).

However, it is usually called Avenue de Neuilly and has been stuck on my mind since I first read it 20 years ago.
