he used Knotty Pine, just the stuff you can get at Menards lol. we put about 5 coats of Polyurathane (sp?) on it too.

Thank you everyone for the compliments!! :) No, he didn't make the chairs, we found them at a second hand store. I love the way it turned out too!! He is planning a computer desk next :)
