I think it looks great..if you were worried about your cuts being perfect..stop fretting...and can i just tell you..he is such an adorable little boy...I swear he sould be modelling...you are certainly blessed...
Love it. I really like the stripes going down the side, and I think that if you had done it over the whole lo, it would have been too much. (taken away from the pix) I guess things happen for a reason... I REALLY like the tag. The fiber is perfect, and it took me a while to figuer out how you did it (until I read that you used vellum.) It looks really neat over the strips on your tag. The eyelets really add to it too. And the picture!!! Too cute for words. I am adding it to My Favorites!
My first time hand cutting letters.... not bad, but not great either, but it was made easier by the Bazzil CS. Great thickness. At least I tried something new so I'm happy.
I got the fiber from Libby Jo sometime ago...Thanks Libby. I was going to make the entire LO stripes but it was just too straight :-) Was going for a "masculine", as opposed to a baby look, being his first birthday and all. I KNOW there are two different textures of Bazzil on here and that bugs me a bit but didn't have any of the blues that are the same texture as the brown and cream. (just thought i'd put that in there just incase you were wondering if i realized that.. hee hee. I DID and wouldn't have done it but no more buying of anything until I use what I have so...)
P.S. The background cardstock is BLUE... NOT Teal, or Grey or Black or... Sorry, couldn't resist :-) Smatteroffact, it's the SAME Blue used in the 4 months LO
Journaling reads: It’s your first birthday!! After all the hoopla from your party was over and you had had a nap, we went to Picture People to get your one year portraits taken. I was adamant about taking your birthday pics ON your birthday so there I was at 8:30 p.m, getting you all dressed up in this princely garment that my friend Kola brought you from Nigeria. Though it was past your bedtime and you were exhausted from all the day’s hoopla, You still managed to give that now trademark smile of yours for the camera :-) You looked just like the African Prince you are (well, Mommy’s little prince, anyway :-)
