hey just wanted to let ya know that the quote "To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world" is found to be by Mahatma Gandhi. :) i love the layout and idea! :)
I think the journaling was great. It's those everyday moment that you forget but are really what make up our lives. The photo on the bottom really says so much. I like the how you tied your fiber too.
Someone on this board had this beautiful quote on their signiture line. I looked and looked to find out who it was, but couldn't find it. If you know who it was, please let me know, because it inspired this layout, and I would like to thank her.
My husband and our youngest playing chase after Daddy got home from work one evening. The navy cardstock pulls out to reveal my journaling:
Daddy always looks forward to coming home from work to play with you and Micah. You both eagerly await his arrival. When you hear the garage door open, you get excited because you know it’s Daddy! On this particular evening, you and Daddy played a little game of chase. You both ran around the living room. You would run around the couch and dive onto the bean bag chair. Daddy would follow you on his knees and he would tackle you. You would lay there for a second, catch your breath, then you would get up and start running again with Daddy close behind. You were both laughing so hard. I smiled and laughed as I sat watching you, but I knew that this was your moment, yours and Daddy’s, and at that time, no one else mattered.
I got the layout idea a Becky Higgens sketch, I changed it a bit to make it my own. I chose the colors to match what they were wearing. My scanner cut off the part of the right side, and it looks very crooked. Thanks so much for looking!
