MMMMM...those sound so good! I think I have my Grandma's Ginger Snap Cookie recipe somewhere...she was from Norway, but my grampa was from Sweden....wonder if they are the same?
loll, nice job using the uglies! A very sweet tradition,I'm sure the cookies are great(did ou add the recipe to the back for a surprise for the next generation?
A photo of me in my parent's kitchen, Christmas 2010. I'm making traditional Swedish Pepparkakkor (Ginger Snaps). Its a recipe from a book that's been in our family since my dad was a boy and one of my favorites. They are very difficult to make because you roll the dough wafer thin and only bake for 4-7 minutes, bu they're heavenly with a tall glass of milk! :)
I've had this one nearly done since the end of January for the January Ugly Paper Challenge and Cricut, but had not been able to get to it until the crop last weekend. The ugly papers I received are the back page and the pink/orange paisley one behind the photo and the cut-outs. The embellie is the recipe-looking one. Cartridges used: Title - Base Camp Coffee cup - Gypsy Wanderings House - Jubilee Top Flower - Mother's Day Bouquet
