I like using my ATC's to test new techniques that I'm trying. For this one I did the faux tile technique.
You take a portion of printed paper or a stamped image and you cut it up in small pieces to create a mosaic and then you coat the top of the paper pieces with a gloss coating like Glossy Accents, I used Crystal Lacquer for these.
Coat the edges of the paper first then fill in the rest of the piece. Lay it flat and wait for it to completely dry. Drying time will depend on the product you use, how heavy you applied the solution and other factors, like the weather and precipitation of the day. When the pieces are dry they might be slightly curled, gently work them back to shape or place them under a heavy flat object for a short amount of time.
