Found the one you were asking about. THis one right?
Well, if you want a critique on it, it is a bit busy if you want the pic to be the total center and focus of the layout. To make your pic stand out try either eliminating some of the boxes that are not the journaling or matting it. I think that if you left the brwon paper and moutned with cream you would be fine. I do like the E box with the ribbbon, and would keep that one, somehow. I love the picture and see why you wnat it to stand out. The song fits the pic perfect, and I think you just need to balance out the LO with some plain unused space. Make sence? Emmy, I think you do great work, I am just trying to offer up some suggestions if you hate it.
Love ya!
I absolutely adore that picture. You're color choice is wonderful(I love brown and light blue). I also love that you used your own handwriting on this. Mine is always either going uphill or downhill(yes even when I use a ruler!)
This was my May Luric Challenge entry. I worked on it for a week and I still don't like it. I might redo it entirely....argh! I think the page is a bit busy and I wanted the photo to stand out a bit more. I am thinking of redoing it on cream cardstock with really minimal patterned paper behind.
I took this picture of my DD in our backyard last week.
Lyrics Read: "You don't need direction, you know which way to go And I don't want to hold you back, I just want to watch you grow You're the one who taught me you don't have to look behind Oh yes, sweet darling So glad you are a child of mine."
