A lo about my best friend, Lynne, whom I've known since Kindergarten.

Journaling underneath photo reads:
We met in Kindergarten.
We walked home from school together every day.
We went to summer girl’s camp together.
We were friends.
She was the high school cheerleader, homecoming princess, girlfriend of the football star.
I was none of these, but we were still friends.
I was ruffled, bejeweled, over the top, with glitter spray in my hair.
She was sleek, elegant, exotic, and minimalist.
When I was unemployed and in ill health and did not know how I was going to survive, she drove 900 miles to come and move me (and my two cats and all of my stuff) to her house until I could get on my feet. It took 9 months, and she never complained or made me feel unwelcome.
I was one of her bridesmaids when she got married.
She was my Matron of Honor when I got married, 21 years later.
She knows all of my secrets.
She knows all of my faults.
She knows all of my stories because she was there when most of them happened.
She is my biggest cheerleader.
Besides my husband, there is nobody I’d rather spend time with.
She is my friend.

Please note: I was dismayed to see how crooked this lo looks on the scan but in real life it is quite straight -- I checked!
