Give a Cheer
We are very fortunate to have a family of Blue Jays who visit us regularly throughout the year. Their striking blue plumage and distinct call are always welcome, especially during the winter months, when there is little color in the landscape. There are many that consider the Blue Jay to be a nuisance bird, but I truly enjoy their bold, brash nature and beautiful blue colors. They're welcome in our yard anytime.
These photos were the best three of many, collected over several weekends. I struggled with this lo, my mojo didn't just leave, it stormed out, slamming the door behind it. It was challenging to have three full size photos on the lo and still create a page with interest and depth, but at the same time, keeping the photos as the stars of the lo. I used real feathers in the corners, and Distress Stickles on the branches.
