Journaling: Casey and Sonny were remodeling their master bath. I went out to watch Kian and Rayn, while Casey painted. Their "Play" is so interesting.

Rayn and Kian like to run around, play hide and seek and build forts. Rayn loves electronics, but Mom and Dad limit her use. Kian loves his cars, trucks and trains. When Rayn is around Kian likes to be with her.

On Sunday Feb. 6, 2012 They found a bug in the house. We weren't sure what it was. It was blak and red like a lady bug, but didn't have spots. It didn't fly.
Rayn wanted to put it in a jar. Casey helped her. They put waxed paper on the top so it wouldn't get out. Mommy asked Rayn how they could secure the paper. Rayn decided on a rubber band. Rayn and Kian poked holes in it with a toothpick. After awhile the kids left it and went off to play. Later Rayn wanted to take it out so that it could get some exercise. She had made a 'habitat' a few days earlier. She used a paper bowl, some clay that hardened and some twigs. The insect seemed to like it and crawled around for quite awhile. The kids watched it for at least 15 minutes.
At one point, Casey came downstairs to see us. The kids were looking at the bug. We all peeked into the bowl and Rayn asked, "Where is it?" I glanced at Kian and it was crawling on his arm. I quickly and carefully scooped it off of him. I didn't know if he would freak out or not. He thought it was funny that it was on his arm.
