For the Scrap Your Pet Challenge (w/ twist: buttons) as well as the Too Cute Challenge over at Scraps of Darkness. I used almost exclusively from the fabulous February 'Victoriana' kit at Scraps of Darkness. This kit was just sooo gorgeous, chock-full of the fab Printery papers from Prima, Madame Boutique papers from Kaisercraft, plus lots of vintage-inspiring embellies and add ons. Love it!

I did also use a few rub-ons, ribbon tape, a Prima flower and the wood letters that I got at the Expo last month... because I was dying to use them! :)

This is our nutty, opinionated little deaf kitty, Gabi (Gabriella). We adopted her off the streets in October when she was maybe a month old and we learned fairly quickly that she was deaf. It doesn't affect her that much, except she has zero concept of volumn control and has no idea an emphatic hiss from our older cat Luci (Lucifer) does NOT mean 'let's keep playing!' LOL (I love that her eyes have stayed blue and her pink ears nose and paws!)
That said, she's very intuitive about most things - she usually beats Luci to the front door before we get home and can smell an opened can of cat food (specifically seafood such as tuna) from upstairs under the bed with the door closed and candles burning! DH caught her in the act of sniffing one night as I was preparing to feed our little angels. We call it the 'What? Is that din-din?' look, but that looked ackward on the page so I changed it to 'I smell tuna'.

Had lots of fun distressing, inking and misting this page - my hands were brown and gold when I was finished! I water-distressed the brown paper and the blue doilies, which are fussy-cut from the Kaisercraft paper.
Thanks for looking!
