DIL & I spent a day shopping and taking breaks in Waikik. Our first break was at Duke's, a "must-see" stop. We shopped more including the International Market and had more breaks - one of which was The Surf Museum (a Jimmy Buffet place). All in all a fun girl-time day.
I love the vintage postcards and this one is a fav. I stitched some waves on what was originallly going to be a journaling spot but wrecked the spot so the stitching became its own little embellie. It's hard to see here but the blue palm tree is the drink stirrer from my margarita at the Surf Museuml. The surfboards and hibiscus are all made with Lifestyle dies. The tag has more journaling and a photo of International Market on the back.
