I heard the Song "Henrietta's Hair" on Pandora and I had to do a layout with some of the lyrics and change the name. Her hair isn't actually bad in these pictures. I didn't keep any photos with her hair a mess. I just used some that feature her hair. Journaling reads:
You are indeed blessed with a full head of long, curly, blonde hair. That makes a lot of work for your mom and dad. Especially because you hate having your hair brushed. Even the slightest tug makes you scream and protest. A few times I gave up and took you out looking like you came out of the woods and were raised by wolves. It's a shame because you look so pretty with your hair tied up. The new rule is that your hair must at least be brushed before we leave, no matter how unpleasant the experience is. We try smearing the $4/oz conditioner in your head to make the brush go through a little easier, but you still put up a fight. I try to tell you that hair bushing is just one of the inconveniences of being a girl and you just have to accept it. And when it's brushed and tied back, I can admire it and be thankful that you're blessed with such nice hair.
