Give a Cheer
ddil's mom arrived in HI for her first visit ever. Shelley made sure she was greeted with a beautiful lei. For March Ugly Paper and Scraplift the one before you. I was inspired by Alwayschar's Celebrate Family which can be seen here:

The ugly papers are the print used for the island, tree trunk and Lei letters as well as the palme tree frame around the journaling circle. The othe ugly I used as the frame for the photo and for the other title letters and the inner ring on the journaling circle. To use the ugly embellie I punched tiny circles with my cropadile and put them in the center of alternating blocks on the picture frame. I also made a stamp using a hibiscus die and stamped randomly on the cs. To add a little interest I also placed the various dies I used under the cs and sanded over them ...you can see the results if you look up close - especiallly around the sun.
