Great photos that capture the expressions so well. The way you chose to journal in steps is really cute also as are the numbers down the side that echo the fact that you chose eight steps. The button swag around the storyteller is a nice touch too.

When I saw the buttons in this kit I immediately thought of designing a banner. I used bakers twine and knots, in different configurations, to keep the buttons in place. It's easy to imagine more possibilities for using buttons in banners now that I've done it once. The numbered border on the right-edge of the layout correlates with steps in my journaling--a sequence of events grandkids go thru when hiking to our Story Pit for storytelling. I'm so happy to have this fun, family memory saved for now and the future. Thanks for looking!
