Lady with Hat by Debi Adams

For a special occasion or just because, say hello to creativity with this Lady with Hat Card. Designed with Framelits dies and matching stamps designed by Hero Arts and a little of your charm, you'll be sure to make an impression.
Cut patterned paper to size and fold to form card base. Cut a piece of patterned paper almost as large as the card front and adhere leaving room along the left side for the patterned paper to show. If desired, embellish with stitching. Cut strip of sheet music or patterned paper and adhere across the middle of the card. Die-cut Giant Scallops from cardstock and adhere across the middle of the card. Trim away any excess. If desired, embellish with stitching. Die-cut an Ornate Frame from cardstock, embellish with glass glitter and set aside. Cut a paper doily in half lengthwise and adhere to the Ornate Frame. Adhere the doily and Frame to the card front. Embellish the area on either side of the doily with decorative buttons. Stamp a Lady with Hat onto cardstock. Align the corresponding Framelits die over the stamped image and die-cut. For ease of use, we recommend using a sticky note to hold the Framelits die in place while shape is being cut. Embellish the Lady with ink, chalk, a decorative straight pin, a ribbon bow, small flowers and velvet leaves. Attach the Lady to the card front using foam dots to give dimension.
