I think I may need a scrap lesson I might of forgotten how to scrap and use my punchs .lol
aodring what you did with that ribbon and pin at the bottom. Clever and unique. Also agree with the photos of your mom. They are so invaluable. Your use of the glassine paper is great and the whole feel you have created is amazing.
Wow!!! This is gorgeous, Kelly! You did such an amazing job of scrapping these precious photos of your mom!! I love your cute title and informative journaling!! Definitely something that most people wouldn't know! Love the buttons on your banner, too! :) This is inspiring and going straight into my faves!
GORGEOUS!!! Beginning with the photos, I can see why you love them. What a treasure to have...and your layout is so perfect. I love the photos on that glassine paper (super cool) and the beautiful flower. The little cluster at the bottom with the safety pin/ruler/butterfly is so lovely. Such pretty details.
I am in love with this layout, I think it's my favorite of yours. The photos are awesome and I love every details. I'm such a fan! Love the little clusters of yumminess! Total FAV!
Wowee!! I love what you've done here Kelly! The vintage photos work beautifully with the papers and the distress work! I've never tried glassine papers but the effect is amazing!! total fave for me! xx
Hi Kelly! What a simply B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L page! I am curious how you made your fence? There is so much to appreciate on this page from the cool title all the way to the hand made flower to those heartfelt photos of your mother. Stunning!
I LOVE this Kelly!!!!! Such gorgeous colors (that look amazing with the photos), love that chipboard chicken wire (adds the perfect touch), and that glassine paper almost looks like straw. What a WONDERFUL layout!! FAVE!!
Isn't that title something else? ha ha! It's cut from the piece of October Afternoon "Farmhouse" paper in my staff monthly kit at Urban Scrapbook. This is our March sketch challenge, and I thought this collection's vintage feel was perfect for these photos of my mom on her family farm.
I have to tell you, I'm in love with these photos of my mother, which are from her scrapbook, handed down to me. I think she's about 18 years old, and to see her in the farmyard (the farm where she grew up) with the chickens and also playing with the dog, well, I am completely enchanted. The last photo on the right is especially precious....because I've never seen my mother run. NEVER.
The brownish photo mat behind the 3 pics is crumpled Tim Holtz Kraft Glassine paper. I made the leaves by cutting more crumpled glassine, along with the ribbon flower, which is ribbon spiralled tightly onto a circular piece of cardstock with a Prima button in its centre. And I couldn't resist adding some Dusty Attic chicken wire chipboard (from my stash, not in the store kit).
