awwwwwwwww...staybehindcat.... well you could fluff up his ego some more.. I like the sound of that cat... non jumper.. doesnt matter if the door is open hhahhaha great job on the lo!
What beautiful and handsome kitties! Love this design with the flourishes and beautiful colors! Those flowers are just luscious! Thanks for the chuckle with your description, Kitty! You and your brother sound like quite the pair! Gracie agrees that, even though this is a kitty page, it's a winner!
LOL! these two sound like my kids~total opposites!! this is so pretty and yor kitties are both beautiful and interesting; I always enjoy your journalling so much!
AWESOME EK>Your colors are also bright. Jen, this LO is dreamy!!!!!! I bet between the two, you are quite busy!!I loved learning about their personalaties. My cat has some of them ~~~ xoxo
Love this! Both of your cats are beautiful! My Rufus looks a lot like your Escape Kitty. And my Rufus is just like EK. He bolted out the door on Sunday and climbed a tree almost to the very top. He was about 35-40 feet in the hour and he cried the whole time he was up there. The tree was not climbable for us so we waited, and waited, and waited some more for him to finally find his way down. After an hour and half in the sun, DH borrowed a ladder with extensions and had to go to the top of the tree to get him down. It was certainly an interesting afternoon!
The Kitty's are soooooo cute!!! This LO is amazing beautiful i love the color composition the red color is soooooo great !!!! Stunning page i love every detail of it!!!!!!!!
OMGOSH...when this lo opened...I just became totally fixated on that GORGEOUS DA scroll..esp the red colour!! This lo is AMAZING!!! Love the beautiful flowers and vines and excellent pics of EK and and Staybehindcat! The descriptions of these two make you LOL! FAVE! xox
This layout was created to give you an up close and personal look at Escape Kitty and her cat sibling, StayBehindCat. The challenge for the CSI-Colors Stories, Inspiration case File #10 was to journal opposites. Well, well, well, my kitties popped right into my mind. I can't think of two complete opposites that live together in relative harmony -except when one wants to sit in the window and it is being occupied by the other.
ESCAPE KITTY: Nickname - Kitty or EK Girl Finicky eater Loves the outside Tries to bolt out the door at every opportunity Can jump on a dresser 6 ft high Favors her daddy Got a wild adventurous streak Larger than life Kitty ego Super fast
STAYBEHINDCAT: Nickname - Butterfly Daydreamer Boy Nothing finicky at all about this chow hound Loves his cat bed Doesn't even care if the door is open Can barely jump on my lap. He's a non-jumper Favors his mommy Big 'ol coward Maybe he has a cat ego when he is dreaming? Can't run at all.
I used the Dusty Attic March Sketch designed my Michelle Grant. Have to say that Michelle has such a unique flair to her sketches.
I used the Dusty Attic Decorative Scroll #1, DA0213 for this. I opted to paint them contrasting colors to represent my opposite Kitties. Red for EK and Olive for StayBehindCat.
Thanks for looking. Please visit Kitty's blog and bloat her ego just a bit more, as if that's possible. http://escapekitty.blogspot.com
