Journaling: While the book, The Clearing Season, talks about clearing away a small patch of our wilderness at the beginning of this journey; I find myself wanting to understand the importance of it both in my own life but also in God’s plan. In an effort to better understand the concept of the wilderness within me I spent the morning reading a variety of Bible verses about the wilderness. In the Old Testament there are numerous references to the wilderness being place that God leads us when we disobey HIS Law. Yet there is always redemption when we cry out for his help and forgiveness and at the same time we learn that God never abandons us even when we abandon him.
These are the next two pages in my Lenton Art Journal.
