Journaling: Likes And Dislikes
What sits at the top of my “to-do” list every day? When it comes to enjoyable things, which thing is the cream of the crop, the world champion, the can't live without of enjoyable things? That thing HAS to be photography! It's more than just taking a picture it's capturing a memory, it's saving a moment in time, it's making each instance a special occasion. Whether I'm using my camera or my IPhone, if I'm snapping shots at a wedding or walking along the beach with my phone in hand, there are always images worthy of being captured everywhere you look. My joy of photography ties directly into my love of scrapbooking. Scrapbooking is made possible by photographs then is watered with imagination and creativity to grow into a history book from the heart. I am a huge fan of clouds and cloud watching. The clouds here in Ohio are so bug and fluffy looking. I can always find amazing images when I look up at them. Sometimes it feels like God is playing Pictionary with me in the sky! Every girl likes shopping and I am no different from them. Any time of any day I could hit that retail highway and cruise my way to a full car and an empty wallet. Lastly I have myself a cuddle addiction. This addiction has to be appeased every day and my Darling David has the prescription for me. Something about getting lost in his arms makes the world around us seem to disappear.
Along with my likes I do have my fair share of dislikes as well. I absolutely with all my heart dislike work. I not only dislike my job but David's as well, maybe all jobs everywhere! I know it's necessary to work to provide the funds for all the things we need but work is so tedious and irritating and stressful…and totally in my way of spending all day with David! I can also say that I'm not a big fan of cooking. To me it's basically work + sometimes gross ingredients + cleaning up a mess = no thank you! Thank goodness David enjoys cooking or else we would be drive-thru junkies. Crowds are another big problem for me. All the noise, the being bumped and pushed along, the smells that you cannot avoid; I instantly get nervous and severely uncomfortable within seconds of entering a crowd. Does anyone here really like bugs? YUCK! I personally don't care what kind it is or how beautiful it may seem because if it crawls, slithers, hops, flies or anything else a bug can do I am heading in the opposite direction of said bug pronto! Finally I'm placing chores on my dislike list. I know that doing chores is a must because a filthy house is worse than any amount of chores but DOING the chores still stinks. Spring cleaning always bleeds into fall, dirty dishes seem to multiply in the sink overnight, two people have laundry that needs doing every day…and we haven't even started on the yard work yet! Maybe David will let me hire a house cleaning service…
