She left when I was 3 and my Brother was 7.
He never got over the pain of our childhood, as that was only the beginning. Later began drinking and using drugs, I'm sorry to say, and he died too young.
Our Mother and me became good close friends later in life. After that, she was always in my corner. She's been gone for several years now.
I'm glad that I got to know her & her wonderful Husband, John Sledd.
