Journaling Reads: The kids had a blast with the pinata. Of course, it was a Dora piņata. Carlos stood on top of the table holding the rope to the piņata as one by one the kids took turns hitting it. Being the guest of honor, Bianca went first. It was the cutest thing because she could barely hold up the stick. But that didnt stop her. She was able to whack the piņata a few times. Alejandro, our neighbor, was the lucky one to tear open the piņata. The funny thing is that it broke right in half and the bottom half just fell to the floor with the candy still inside. Carlos then stood on top of the table and shook all the candy out. It was lots of fun to watch.
