This is very dark and mysterious looking. I had to study it for several minutes just to take it all in! So many great techniques and you really nailed the feel of that photo! Great job!

I made this lo using the wonderful and versatile Needful Things the March Scraps of Darkness Kit! It has everything you need to make amazing layouts!
This is my friend Mina....she is very dark and mysterious and although I have never met her in person she has agreed to let me use her in my pages. She is a very beautiful, deep and unique woman! All of her photos are very inspiring and you will be seeing a whole series of Mina layouts from me! I love the Olde Curiosity Shoppe paper and I found some curious photos to use as embellishments some "curious oddities" to add to the layout. They had a white background and I printed them on photo paper to to reduce the shine I tried inking them and the result is what you see here! I think this came out great! Although, after seeing the design team reveal I feel really humbled! I bought some cheese cloth and misted it then I inked it with some bottled distress ink! That stuff is so useful and juicy! I used some of my new glitz stamps, but they got swallowed up by most of the paper and embellishments I used, I also used some green iridescent and black seed beads to add a bit more texture. The antique looking jewelry piece I salvaged out of box of broken old costume jewelry my friend got at an auction. The trim with the leaves on it are May Arts and I bought that at the Scraps of Darkness store too! It was a little on the bright side so I misted that too! I made 3 mists to go with this kit. One is a turquoise, one is burnt orange. I used both of those here and i also tore and taped back together some of the background paper and inked the torn edges but you can only see it in the bottom corner. I used the smaller photos to represent what you might find in an Olde Curiosity Shoppe with unusual oddities. I hope you like this! TFL!
