I love how you placed the photo. I have these papers to use up too. They demolished my grade school this past summer. I didn't get down home to take a photo. Very nice LO.

I LOVE this! So many times I have driven by my elementary school, and always have been glad to see it looking pretty muh as it did when I started school in 1945! Wonderful memory page!

In 1943, I went to my first day of school at Hampton Elementary School in Detroit, Michigan. I walked to school, home for lunch, back to school and then home again. This is the way it looks today, and the way it looked in 1943 when I went there for the first time. I finished 6th grade at this same school, then we moved to Birmingham Michigan and I went to another school....but these are where all of my childhood memories are! This is one of the few things in Detroit that still looks the way it did so many years ago when I was a child!
