Two days before my hysterectomy in 2002, a friend of mine from a usenet group devoted to quilting surprised me with this beautiful quilt. The group had sneakily made the blocks and sent them to one of the members to quilt and then TerriLee delivered it just two days before I went into the hospital. I felt wrapped in their love then and now feel hugged every time I curl up under it. My uglies were the pink cutting mat paper (background) and the green paper with circles (photo corners, circles on the flowers and the 'love peace joy' flower center). My embellishments are the green leaves on the left and the center of the top flower.
