Oh judy, I never thought to use a banner on a road trip page. How unique. I love pics on the road. I love your border punch. I just got one a few months ago. I like how you added just enough flowers with a cute center.
I have to try to remember how I did the banner...been a while :>) I made the text wavy in my graphics program (PhotoImpact, but most programs should be able to do this), then printed it on a saved piece of plastic packaging. I cut it into a rectangle, and the printer handled it fine. I then handcut the plastic to kind of match the wave of the text. I rubbed the back of the plastic with Pebbles metallic cream chalks, going from gold to silver and blending in the middle. I rubbed the edges heavier with the chalks. Hope this helps~Judy
I started out just wanting to get rid of some "ugly paper", figuring the waves looked kind of watery and mountainy. I tore the lo apart a couple of times and finally added the bright top and bottom. Then it seemed like the main paper wasn't quite so ugly :>)
This is the title page for my Tahoe album. The photo doesn't show it well, but the title banner goes from gold to silver behind the words. Signs are popped-out.
