The rainstorm caused a state of emergency. We have had between 5 and 9 inches, depending upon the location. Low lying areas are flooding and people are sandbagging between themselves and rivers. Even our complex is flooded - the storm drains are totally inadequate for the job. Fortunately, the buildings are all elevated several feet above the landscaped areas. One keeps wondering when Noah will stop by for tea.
