WOW! Your steward is getting creative on the towel critters! And I think Bill's skills are improving too! I totally knew that was a squid w/o the note! ;)
Friday, October 14th, 2011 – Last night we found a towel lobster on our bed – very cute. This morning Bill changed it slightly to make a squid for our cabin steward. Next to it he left a note on which he had written “SQUID” so the cabin steward could identify it. Good thing Bill labeled it because it was pretty much open to interpretation.
When we came back from breakfast our cabin was cleaned and on our freshly made bed was an octopus that Mus made for us to show Bill how it's done. It was adorable! And it didn't need a note to tell us what it was!
Then into Dalian China – we walked with Gary and Bev through the outdoor market place and checked out all the stands of vendors. Nothing got us excited enough to actually buy anything except for a belt for $20.00 for Bill which he talked them down to $3.00.
Gary and Bev wanted to see a nice park but it was too far to walk. The four of us shared the cost of the cab and had a very enjoyable afternoon in the park. There were interactive bronze states throughout the park that were designed for tourists to pose with – one even had roller blades which were open in the back so you could step into them and it looked like you were roller blading with the bronze statues of children on roller blades. Gary and I had a good time with the surfboard bronze statue.
When we returned to the ship we went to the grill by the pool for a quick hamburger, then fell asleep by 7:00pm and slept right through dinner and woke up in the next morning.
