Shift into a whole new kind of you. This Etruscan Gears Necklace combines essential images with the intricacies of embossed metal designs made with Sizzix DecoEmboss Dies by Vintaj. Put them all together on a necklace and transform yourself into a stylish canvass where technology and texture meet.
Emboss a Large Circle Vintaj Natural Brass Metal Blank and a Fancy Key Natural Brass Altered Metal blank using the Steampunk Parts DecoEmboss die. Buff the Fancy Key with the Metal Reliefing block to highlight the raised designs. Punch or drill additional holes in the blanks for linking. Use a paint brush to apply Vintaj Patinas to an Etruscan Antiquity embellishment and the embossed Large Circle Blank. While Patina is still slightly wet, buff with the dark gray side of the Metal Reliefing block to highlight the raised designs. Attach Etruscan Antiquity to a larger jump ring to form a pendant. Create the necklace by linking the embossed blanks, a decorative tube bead, and clock charm onto chain. For added interest, dangle an Embossed Key Bric-A-Brac charm and an Embossed Keyhole charm from a long piece of chain. Attach each side of the necklace to the pendant. No clasp needed for long necklace style. If desired, Vintaj Glaze can be used as a sealer for natural metals to prevent oxidation. It is fast-drying, durable and permanent with a satin finish.
