1964 family vacation. I journaled on the back of this LO. On this vacation we visited both of the cities but I don't have photos. I wanted to include this portion of our trip in the album and I had these banners and wanted to use them. My first idea was to criss cross the banners but because of their large size it looked hokey so I ended up using them as you see. Not an elegant LO but it does the trick jogging my memory when I see it. In San Diego we visited San Juan Capistrano and the zoo and in Tijuana we went shopping and I bought a cheap woven straw sombrero that had "MEXICO" stitched on the brim and my grandmother bought a leather handbag.
