It's so frustrating to accidently get ink on something! I think if you like this as is, and can live with ink spots, than don't redo it. If it's always going to bug you, though, then I would tranfer the elements to a new background page. It's whatever makes you happy!
i love those little hearts at the bottom and the ribbon too! How about placing a stamp on the right hand corner to fill up the space? I love your embossed paper too!
Great title for these pics! I really like the heart brads with the ribbon coming off, the ribbon that ties in a bow on the second page, and the hearts across the bottom. I think I would add some hearts (like on the bottom)in the top left corner (maybe 3 of them that would give the feel of a photo corner), and then start a line of hearts above the e of "love" (but at the top of the paper) that continues on across the top left page in a line that ends at the pic. This would help fill a little of the blank space and pull a little more color to the top of the pages. What a smart, sweet girl Meg must be!
A hardcore scrapper in about 3 more years, I think!
This layout breaks my heart, because I didn't wait for the inking to dry before gluing it to my paper. There's a little smudge here or there. I kick around the idea of redoing it, but it was a lot of work.
Journaling reads: She loves stickers and she loves hearts. Meg might not have understood all about Valentine's day, but she had a blast getting ready! First, breakfast with the scissors she's been eyeing for weeks -- she wouldn't put them down. Then hearts, hearts, hearts. Who could guess that she could put them in a straight line at 20 months? Then a playdate and a visit to Grammy, Grampa and Aunt Bitsy. A perfect day! February, 2006.
