Oh WOW!!! LOVE how you did the water distressing to those cards - fabulous way to preserve them! What a great story and an interesting exhibit! Will have to go check out your blog to see if your person lived or died! Fab page!
Hello!! For Spring Break we went to see the Titanic Exhibit. It was great!! You can read about it on my blog: wwww.melodysmagicalmoment.blogspot.com This is for the April Subject Challenge: April Showers!! When we went to the exhibit, before you go in they give you a card with name and info of a passenger. At the end you can see if that person lived or died. Again all the info is on my blog!! Here's a blurp from my blog about how I did the water distressing: I took the cards we were given and copied them onto cream colored paper. Then I dropped tea on them to give them the stains and let it dry. I used TH's ink on the edges, and then I sprayed it with water, crinkled it all up and laid it flat to dry. While it was wet I rubbed the edges to get the tears and such on them. When they were dry I added a little more ink to them. (I did the story spots the same way) The clock and hinge are from 3tailscrafts!! Thanks so much for looking!!
