I saw a twisted design like that on a tutorial for a barrett and wondered if it would work on a page...sure does brilliant ly. Great use of the green trim
I ADORE this! That woven wavy strip is wonderful as are the brads in the punching on the large mat. Also - the fabric trim along the edge of the 'ground' is brilliant!!
What a fabulous take on your round robbin team! LOVE that you made square photos out of those side squares and that green bottom with the flower trim is fabulous! Very cute Easter page!
This looks awesome! I love the weaved border and the crocheted ribbon, I like how you did your pictures and "aged" your paper... and best of all, I like your interpretation of chocolate!!! I agree, it is the color of a choc milkshake!
Oh wow! Lots of cool things happening here! I love the green crocheted lace and the smaller photos are so cute! I really like the woven border up top! Fabulous page!
Wow!! I didn't even recognize which original this went with until I went to the front page and saw it, but when you compare the two, it's totally obvious that it's an extremely good lift of the original design and elements!! You did an amazing job of doing a "direct lift", but making it totally your own, too! Love your Easter egg like mats..that is such a fun idea! The rounded corners really add to that idea. Love the woven strips at the top and your title is so eye-catching...love the size and the font! I really like the way you took the idea of the layers of snow from the original and converted it to a grassy hill for yours! That pp is so perfect!! Love the way you used that flower trim at the top, too! Straight to my faves to join the original..they both are terrific and this has soooo many terrific ideas on it!
lots of great things going on here, love the ribbon as part of the grass, the cute brads on the matting, and the woven strips under the title, the journaling is very creative too, awesome lo!
Week #2 Grp #6 April Round Robin. Twists: aged - a little difficult with the theme but I tried by using dark ink around the edges of the lo; Lace - green crocheted lace; ink around all cs edges; Rubons - 2012 in date;Punch work - the grass border at the bottom and the little clumps of grass as well as the matt for the larger photo. Also week #2 One Month at a time: something soft & fluffy- rabbits; woven border at top; eggs - all over; chocolate? the closest I could come was the color of the bg cs..that looks like a nice chocolate shake doesn't it? Also - One Item at a Time, the Easter overlay is nearly as old as I am I think and I cannot believe I finally used it! Journaling is under the center photo and is a tribute to my dgs who is all about military ops etc: "Easter Sunday. 7AM. The hunters gather in the early morning light. They are dressed to handle any obstacle. They carry the tools of their trade (on their heads). The 1st step of their mission is to record their attendance for posterity. Then the hunt begins. Experienced hunters that they are it takes mere minutes to find and destroy all 300+ eggs and extract the treasure within. Mission Egg Hunt accomplished."
