I don't know how I missed all your recent vintage LOs. I must visit your gallery more often. I love the starkness of this. Perfect LO for that classic photo.
Love the layout and how you made the bricks. I used this same paper for a heritage album that I did. It's from the Tattered Time stack by DCWV. Love how you fussy cut the gears out too.
Before my Mum immigrated, she worked as secretary at "Eddie Woods Construction" in Manchester, England. She remained close friends with all the girls in the photo and still chats on the phone with Mavis (only surviving one besides my Mum). Mum was 18 in this photo and is the second from the right.
The bricks were made using a stencil and some embossing paste. After they dried, I used several different inks to get the right colors. I fussy cut the gears from another paper and both the gear paper and the background paper are from a pad, but I don't recall the mfg! (thanks to Scrapstitcher, I now know the name and have listed it! Thanks!)
