This is a card for a friend who is expecting her first child. I wanted to write something different and make it simple to fit her modern, non-traditional personal style. I used Scrap FX chipboard alphabets painted with neon nail polish to give them extra dimension and shine without having to use other products. Turns out nail polish is perfect for chipboard alphas! It goes on quickly, dries faster than other paint products and stays shiny. I took some creative risks with this card but thankfully my friend really liked it. Machine sewing the triangles in place was a little hard since I just started to learn to use the sewing machine but I really like the final effect and will keep trying this (till it gets neater).
