Más que una promesa, es un milagro............que con fé, vive en este mundo.
Me gustó mucho el uso del papel vegetal pero no logré entender bien, el tema del tratamiento del papel
ohhh my friend what an incredible story behind this photo. It reminds us that for God nothing is impossible and I´m sure that all your love and power was so important on that moment.
I don't think I will ever, ever, ever get tired of looking at this page!! The story warms my heart every time! I adore the photo of your sweet baby girl and all the bits and pieces you used throughout!
I always find this photo so amazing...despite the tubes, she is so there, present, looking right at you! You are amazing for your strength to stand your ground!
Michelle, this made me cry. I have a nephew who was born 2 months early and was in the NICU for quite a while. He is 6 months now and doing great! This picture is amazing. Says so much. Gorgeous details in this one!
Michelle, this is like jaw dropping...fir the picture and the story are so touching and amazing, and then all of the techniques you used without looking crowded...gorgeous!
This is so moving my friend..... another, further proof that nature is more powerful than us..... Have a happy weekend with your wonderful Lola.... hugs, Claudia.
Every year around this time I pause and try to make a page to remind myself that no matter how awful the news is, no matter how scary the possibilities- never let fear dictate my choices. Despite countless tests and procedures, doctors could not find a medical reason for the very serious issues with my first pregnancy. I was warned she may have a fatal chromosomal disorder or heart defect. I decided to ignore advise to "terminate" the pregnancy and made a promise that I would love and protect my baby no matter what. Lola was born 6 weeks early and spent some very tough weeks in the NICU but no defects or chromosomal disorders have been detected- a mystery with a good ending. This page uses a new technique Melissa Mann introduced over at the Greenfrog Studio blog- basically you use your score board to make embossed lines on paper- I really liked the subtle effect. I used Scrap FX kraft tags, chipboard title and swallow. The tiny stars are from my local scrap store. I also used kitchen grad wax paper and cooking twine.
