Journaling: Well, this week you two gave us quite the scare. On Saturday 5/6/06 daddy went up to LA to help Uncle Chad move. When I woke up I went to the bathroom to find a lot of blood, something you definitely don’t want to see when you are finally pregnant. I was so upset and I called daddy and then called the Dr who was gone because it was a weekend. I was told to go into the urgent care and luckily Leah was home and able to take me. After waiting for what seemed like forever I was finally seen by a Dr that was not very nice. He told me that I was probably losing you two in a not so nice way. I was luckily sent to get an ultrasound, and to my surprise we saw two nice and strong heartbeats on the screen. Daddy came down and met me at the Dr and we were so excited that you were both okay. I was put on bedrest for the remainder of the weekend and on Monday for my birthday. Daddy was so nice and brought me home roses and made me a nice steak dinner. The Dr called me back and put me on partial bedrest and told me to rest as much as possible for the next month. I am so very happy that you are both okay, and I’m looking forward to my next u/s at 10.5wks to see that you are both doing well. My morning sickness is as strong as ever and I even had to miss a day at work because you kept me up sick all night. As you can see by my 8wk-4day picture, my belly is starting to pop out quite quickly. Daddy keeps joking that I’m going to be huge, and I can’t help but agree. I can’t wait to see what the remainder of this pregnancy brings us. Now you two behave in there and stop scaring mommy! 5/13/06
