Journaling: March began with two showers for Karen. She and three other mommies-to-be were honored at the clubhouse, and Rhonda hosted a shower at her house for Karen. Marc was into rockets, and the open spaces behind their house were the perfect venue for the launches. We celebrated his 32nd birthday at the Olympus Restaurant.

Don’s birthday was just before Easter, and we celebrated at Sweet Tomatoes. Afterward, we went over to Marc and Karen’s where Katie had fun listening to PapPap’s music with the earbuds. She’s a bluegrass girl. She had her first experience coloring Easter eggs and had a blast. Easter dinner at our house was followed by our traditional game of Pokeno which Rob won. Katie finally took a spin in her miniature VW, instead of just sitting in it. She turned 2 on April 1 and had a family party at home and a kiddie party at My Gym. After she spent the night with us, we took her to Gatorland.
