I have - arguably - the world's cutest nephew. My sister-in-law is terrific about photographing and updating pictures of him on facebook, and since I have NO grandchildren (and none anywhere in the foreseeable future), I decided that it was time for SOMEone in Brady's family to do his "first year" scrapbook.

This was Brady's first Zoo trip, and from what I understand, he wasn't too interested until he saw the fish, and after that he had a pretty good idea what was going on and after that it was talking to the fish, and the birds, and the elephants, and everything that had fur or feathers.

I'm using Jami's monthly sketch challenge forum for inspiration. This was the first sketch for this month. I had to do a little rearranging of some of the page elements because I went from a one-photo sketch to a three photo layout, but really this sketch was pretty amazing to work with.

I'll probably do a companion layout to this one about "The Zoo Makes His Clothes Fall Off..." Watch for it in an upcoming project.
