This lo is for 2 challenges. First is for the scraplift the person before you. I got to chose from Marcilb's wonderful gallery. This is the LO I chose to lift: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/710031/view/3584443/-1/60/1.html
ALso for the May uplift and inspire challenge. The lo is about Uncle. He's not really my uncle, but in our hearts he is family, and so we've always called him Uncle. Uncle is 70 years young. He was born with cerebral palsy and encephalitis. He was put in a group home and didn't learn to walk until he was about 10, when he went into a foster home where the mother wasn't very kind. He has always had to walk with crutches. When I was younger he could nearly fly on those things!! But he fell and broke his hip about 7 years ago, and now seems to just put himself along with the crutches. He takes 1 tylenol everyday, per drs. orders, to keep from getting to stiff and sore. Can you imagine?? He is' amazing. He NEVER says anything negative, never complains, ALWAYS sees God at work in his life and in the life of others!! He is so giving and encouraging. He's currently in a nursing home, which just makes me so sad. When I think about him there, it's the only time I wish I had a bigger house and could go get him (he's 500 miles away now) and bring him home with us!! I wish I had a dose of his optimism everyday!!

DH thinks this turned out to girly, but I like it!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
