Luckily, I picked these photos out of my old photo albums last night for a couple of other challenges:
1) One month at a time challenge
a. red white green somewhere on your lo
b. include a party lo - my sisters' confirmation May 1979
c. song lyrics.. I have to go back forgot that one.. but "we are family"
d. use cardboard or kraft paper

2. Monochrome challenge week 4: Poppy with the twist "Where I come from".. the home where I grew up. ( One of the of the twists was mispelled 'twisted: My mother, myself.. see the boat in the round picture? off to the right? My dad was an ornery s.o.b. and a bit ignorant. I remember he wouldn't move it. My graduation party was the following month and the day of my party about 20 minutes before the family was to start showing up, my sisters helped me move it to the side of the garage.. yeah, he was ticked off...I was the only of 7 kids that would butt heads with my dad like that. )

3. NSD challenge: There's no place like home - this is the house my father built in 1965 and my brother sold it in 2006. Even though I movd out in 1979, it was always home. Even my daughter considered it her home. the doors were never locked, well, one time and that's another story in itself... for a 'hidden journaling" one!

The three flowers on the top half were from a flower swap last summer made by Finally Mama! The sketch was nice, but my lo was missing something and the colors were perfect for my lo.
