The text reads:
It started with the cats stalking our property. Then we noticed the mouse droppings in the garage. THEN I saw the mice in the laundry room! One mouse was a daredevil, and liked to explore the machines. He ended up in our washing machine drum. Kevin caught it in a water bottle (he threw that out) and tossed it into long grass down the street. That didn’t stop another mouse from drowning in the washing machine with a load of wash.
