The journaling reads:
March 28, 2006 is a day none of us are going to soon forget. Jessica and Christian were about to become parents again. Little Miss Alexis had decided she was nice and snug where she was at, so Jessica was scheduled to be induced on the 28th. Everything was going along fine with the labor. In fact Alexis made her appearance at 7:04PM, weighing in at 9 lbs 6 oz, and measuring 21 inches long.
However, it was after the delivery that things went wrong. Chris called me at 8:00 to tell me that Jessica was being taken to the OR because she wouldn’t stop bleeding. Her uterus caved in on itself and they had to remove it. It was a scary time for all of us. I couldn’t help but cry for 2 reasons, I was an aunt again and I could have lost my sister. Lots of prayers went up for Jess that night. She came out of it with flying colors. It was quite an intense day for all of us with so many emotions going on at once. I thank God He was watching over both of them that night.
