This is only my second matchbook that I have ever made but they are a lot of fun and work up quick. I used a strip of white cardstock 2" wide and folded it into a matchbook. I will try to put a diagram of the measurements that I used onto my gallery today. I inked the edges with a robins egg Color Box ink pad. I then tore some "paper bag" colored cardstock and glued it onto the front flap and trimmed the sides and bottom to fit. I used yellow eyelets to hold the flap down and tied some jute through them and tied the ends into knots. The "ocean" is made from torn strips of white core cardstock (so you get the top of the waves) and stuck on from the top down. The sun is a large gold sequin and I found the ribbon at a local scrap store and it was already printed. Last thing I did was to glue a small shell that actually came from a lei that I got in Hawaii but you can probably find a shell necklace anywhere. I hope this helps. I am not very good at writing down instructions I do better when I can actually see and demonstrate. If you have any questions please let me know! Happy scrapping!
