Thanks LOLena :) Yes, I combined using severaf digital programs and effects to alter a digital still of the original "Time Machine" movie i searched for and found. (Movie happens to be one of my faves (I like the newer one too :) anything Time Machine, lol.) I found and used and played with/altered clip art of grey film strip for the borders and added them to the still of the movie title. The font for the movie is on the still, and yes, the font on the upper right adding my name is one of the tons of digital fonts I've collected over the years. I chose it because it makes me think of old fashioned movie "marquee" form :) I could make a cover like this with anybody's name :) When I have ink, I will print this out for my hard copy album, possibly on transparency film when I can afford that, lol, so it looks even more "filmy." Thanks again you make me feel good :)
I had such fun all week looking for and deciding upon the perfect images to use, create, and/or adapt for my Time Machine mini book. I have always adored the idea and concept of time travel plus books and movies about it alike. :) So I couldn't resist adapting a still from the original movie based on H.G. Wells wonderful tome, playing with it via photo software and publishing software, taking some away and adding some clip art of film strip for the borders plus computer font I found to add my name to the adventure. :) Once printed out this will also include more distressing of course, plus fibers to attach and any other embellishment I decide to add. :) Let the Time Machine saga commence!
