Cool LO! Though I am a klutz myself, I have always admired the beauty of ballet. I love how you have one half of the page in vibrant, bright colors and the other half in muted neutrals. I think what ties it together is the color of the violins, which is picked up again in the color of the piano. And the bright colors in the upper right corner. very nice!
This isn't the first time I've dance to "Ode to Joy" (specifically the arrangement from the movie "Immortal Beloved"). Nope...the first time I danced to this piece of music was in 1999 and in a really nice brown costume. This year's dance isn't as grand as that first version...the dance, itself, was a lot harder that first time and I'm not just saying that. The dance had to be dumbed down a ton to make it do-able for the two younger classes that are dancing with mine. Actually, I can't even say that I'm in a class. The studio's ballet workshop has dwindled down to myself and two other dancers. (When I was first allowed to dance with the ballet workshop, there were 20 plus of us). This year marks my 25th year at the studio..and the first time I'm being considered a member of the studio teaching staff. I only technically teach one class though, a beginner pointe class since I'm the only person at the studio who had official pointe training.
